Steel City Net

Tuesdays at 8:00 PM, except the week of the business meeting, on the club’s 2 meter repeater, 147.030 MHz, PL 123.0. Also carried on the 220 repeater at 224.480 and reachable from anywhere through EchoLink node 147030.

This is the club’s weekly roll call and round table. Non-members and newly licensed hams are especially welcome; it is a friendly place for a first check-in. We are always looking for net control operators. If you would like to try it, tell any officer and we will get you the script.

Coffee Clash

Monday through Friday at 9:00 AM on the 70 cm repeater, 444.450 MHz FM, PL 103.5. A daily gathering point for friends before the WPA Health and Welfare Net on 80 meters. FM only, so make sure a Fusion radio is not in digital mode.

Keystone Digital Net

Keystone State Wide Digital Net

Sundays at 8:00 PM. A statewide System Fusion C4FM net linking Pennsylvania repeaters and nodes. Check in on the SCARC 70 cm repeater at 444.450 C4FM or through any connected repeater. Repeater and node operators: connect to the Keystone-West room 60328 for the 8 PM hour and let your users join in. If the room is down on net night, switch to the Steel City room 43352 as a backup.

Permanent repeaters on the network:

  • W3PIE, Uniontown ARC, Uniontown
  • W3KWH, Steel City ARC, Carnegie / Pittsburgh West
  • K3MJW, Skyview Radio Society, New Kensington / Pittsburgh East
  • K3LV, Lebanon Valley Society, Lebanon
  • NQ3U, Reading
  • WB3JOE, Mid-Atlantic ARC, Eagleville / Philadelphia
  • K3PSP, WACOM, Washington, PA

We are looking for repeaters in the Erie, State College and Scranton areas to join, plus net control operators. Digital nets are easier than you think, since every call sign shows up on your display. Contact Christine N3LRG through the contact page.

QCWA Net

Sundays at 8:30 AM on 147.030 MHz, PL 123.0. The weekly Quarter Century Wireless Association net. Members and non-members welcome.

SCARC Chat on Hams Over IP

Tuesdays at 7:30 PM, room 10426 on the Hams Over IP network. A VoIP round table before the net, open to any licensed ham. How to get on HOIP.

10 Meter Chat

Random evenings around 8:00 PM on 28.495 MHz USB, whenever the band is open and somebody is bored. Listen for us.
