WHAT: Fall 2024 Skywarn Amateur Radio Operations Communications Exercise.
WHERE: Involving The National Weather Service Weather Forecast Offices Of Pittsburgh, PA, State College, PA, And All Amateur Radio Operators In Their County Warning Areas Combined.
WHEN: Saturday Morning October 19th Beginning At 10 AM Until 12 Noon.
WHY: To Test Our Communication Skills And Communications Capabilities In The Event Of A Weather Emergency. This Will Test Communications Between The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Pittsburgh, PA And The National Weather Service Forecast Office In State College, PA.
Steve Fazekas, K3FAZ, Will Be Working On The ICS-205 Communications Plan And Will Send It Out Before The Exercise
